The practice has evolved with multiple areas of expertise. In the early years, the firm design, developed and built many of its own projects.  During this period the firm design and developed a business park, fair market housing, affordable housing and recreational properties.

As market conditions and economies shifted, the firm developed an institutional and municipal market.   During this period the firm worked with municipalities developing redevelopment areas, business retention zones and municipal infrastructure projects.  The City of San Leandro was a primary client.  The firm designed the San Leandro Civic Center, the San Leandro Library, Firestations, San Leandro School District Projects and worked on over 140 small retail projects.  Life Chiropractic College West, a 12 acre campus consolidation housing over 300,000 square feet of clinic’s, classrooms and administrative space was completed during this period of the firm’s history.

During the past eight years, CDA Inc. has been actively involved in design and development of our projects.  During this period we have downsized to have more of a “hands on” approach to all of our projects, thus providing the project, partners and clients the highest level of staff involvement at every phase of the project.

Our approach to all of our projects is to have our founders and most senior staff designing, managing and implementing the process.  This insures the projects have literally decades of professional expertise focused on the complex process of successful project implementation.
